Welcome to STSH. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the STSH platform, cloud synchronization services, and our native applications for macOS and iOS (collectively, the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Services.
1. Agreement and Eligibility
By accessing or using STSH, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your country) and are fully capable and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Terms.
2. Description of Services
STSH is a unified personal vault application ecosystem designed to organize your physical belongings and track health metrics across four core modules:
- HOME: Inventory logging, categorization, and location tracking for your household.
- DRIP: Wardrobe catalogs, fitting details, and purchase records.
- SNKRS: Sneaker collection lists, sizing tracking, and condition monitoring.
- HLTH: Vital metric logs (e.g. blood pressure, heart rate) and medication diaries.
We provide these Services via web interfaces and downloadable native applications for macOS and iOS.
3. Accounts and Security
To utilize the synchronization features, you must register for an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your username, email address, and account credentials.
Local Client-side Encryption: STSH offers advanced, local client-side encryption options for sensitive modules (such as your HLTH metrics). When client-side encryption is enabled, data is locked using a master passphrase key generated on your device. This passphrase never travels to our servers, and we do not store or keep backups of it.
4. Data Loss and Encryption Key Disclaimer
⚠️ IMPORTANT: STSH HAS ZERO RESPONSIBILITY FOR DATA RECOVERY IF YOU LOSE YOUR E2E ENCRYPTION KEYS.
Because we use a zero-knowledge encryption architecture for locked vaults, our staff has absolutely no mechanism to recover, reset, or decrypt your vault contents if you forget or lose your custom E2E passphrase. You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for memorizing or securely backing up your master E2E passphrase key.
- If you lose your passphrase, the encrypted files and vitals in that vault will be permanently unrecoverable.
- STSH shall not be liable for any loss of data, corrupted files, or locked assets resulting from your failure to safeguard your encryption keys.
5. Software Licenses & Restrictions
STSH is proprietary software and is not licensed under an open-source model. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and run our native macOS and iOS binaries strictly for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control.
You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the applications, except as permitted by applicable law.
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based upon the applications or services.
- Distribute, lease, sell, or rent the native binaries to any third party.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights notices on the software.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use STSH only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Upload or sync any data that violates local, state, national, or international laws.
- Abuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our cloud synchronization servers, databases, or networks.
- Engage in scraping, data mining, or automated queries against our sync endpoints.
- Use the multi-household sharing feature to transmit unsolicited communications or store illegal content.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the software, logos, branding, domain names (`stsh.life`), custom illustrations, designs, and service architecture are owned exclusively by STSH. Your use of the Services does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
You retain sole ownership of all data, item details, photos, and vitals that you upload or log in your vaults ("User Content"). You grant STSH a limited, secure, system-wide license to transmit, cache, and synchronize this User Content strictly to provide the sync services to your authenticated devices.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STSH, ITS FOUNDERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, INCURRED BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT OR TORT, ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO, OR USE OF, THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
9. Termination
You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account and removing all native applications from your devices. Upon account deletion, your synchronized data will be permanently purged from our active databases and backup routines.
STSH reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the synchronization services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms or if we decide to deprecate the sync service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or proceedings arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in San Francisco, California.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. By continuing to access our Services after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
